Conor's Hip Injury

Yesterday was suppose to be a BIG day for Conor!  He had his appointment with the orthopaedic doctor to get cleared to start working out and possibly try-out for baseball.  The appointment did not go as planned.  After his evaluation and x-ray the doctor determined that Conor's hip needed about 6 more weeks of limited activity and only upper body weights.  Conor, was devastated by the news.  We could see on the x-ray that the area that was fractured was still pulled away from the bone pretty good.
The only good thing Conor saw out of the appointment was on the x-ray he could see his growth plates are completely open so that means he still has growing to do.
This Photo is Conor sitting on the beach with his surf-board thinking about life!  What a day!!
Life is nothing with out your health.....so Conor take your time and heal properly and soon enough you will be back on that field doing what you love to do!!  Love you bunches...Mom

JSerra vs. Mater Dei

This was a very emotional, tough game for Conor to sit on the sidelines.  Especially, because Conor has really became a strong leader and asset for the team.  He was really looking forward to playing against his fathers alma mater Mater Dei- but due to his hip fracture Conor was not able to play.
It was a very difficult loss for JSerra 18-41 Mater Dei .

This game Mom and Grandma could relax on the sidelines!

Conor right there for his buddy and teammate.
